internship -a  period  of  time  during which someone  works  for a  company  or  organization  in  order  to get  experience of a  particular   type  of  work Ex:  Jane has a  summer  internship at a  local  TV  station . substantial - large  in  size ,  value , or  importance Ex:  She  inherited  a substantial  fortune  from her  grandmother . About working for free Internship is an important thing for students to enter the workplace. Being able to learn while doing and understand where you are lacking, but unpaid internships are less of an incentive for students, because internships are also considered to work but have no salary. Although they can learn a lot, they still have to work for money.
